The Chrosziel AC-450-EX1K2 is a sunshade/filter holder kit that is designed for the Sony PMW-EX1. This unit will work with 4:3 aspect ratios and also comes with a 16:9 mask. Lightweight support rods add to this package's security and usefulness with a follow focus system for film style operation. This unit as a whole works as a matte box enabling the user to add more control to the image; perfect for those videographers shooting film style and event shooters wanting to upgrade their image quality.
- Wide Profile
- This unit has a wide profile to work with wide angle lenses and 16:9 aspect ratios utilized by the XDCAM camcorders.
- Filter Holder
- This unit comes with two filter holders for excellent control and filter stacking; one filter is fixed and the other rotates for use with circular polarizers and gradient filters. The fixed filter holder is a 4x5.65 optimized for wide shots and 16x9 aspect ratios.
- French Flag
- A French Flag comes standard to add extra glare and flare control.
- Support System
- A lightweight supports system takes the weight of the matte box off of the camera lens therefore providing better safety and security.
- Follow Focus
- A follow focus system allows the user to shoot film style with the ability to hold focus while the subject or the camera moves.
- Compatibility
- This matte box is compatible with a variety of wide and tele attachments.
- Microphone
- Truncated filter holders offer clearance for the camcorder's microphone.
