The Ambi Illuminator Light Box from DSC Labs is a solution designed to provide video-camera test-transparency illumination. Calibrating a camera's color matrix with several different illuminants and then storing the profiles can allow you to dramatically improve visual quality and consistency. Correct use of this solution can allow you to achieve superior results, precisely matching colors to the type of lighting you are using in your setup.
This unit is essentially a transparency frame designed to work with the calibration transparency of your choice and an external light source. Simply place a DSC Labs Combi OSG test transparency or other compatible test transparency on the the light box and then position the external light source to illuminate the transparency.
Note! Please note that this unit consists of a light box only. The Ambi Illuminator can be purchased as an integrated system, or additional add-on accessories for the light box may be purchased separately.
