The sound quality is really bad. Almost no bass or mid tones. I'd like to compare the quality to that of a cell phone, only a little better.

High Quality, Durable, Long lasting, Good Sound. Used for Rescue Operations in High Noise environments. Wish it had a small clip to attach the wire to your collar to keep it close to you.

I play piano as part of a church orchestra in a large church and need headphones of some sort, preferably for just one ear, so I can also hear the ambiant music mix. I also wear in-the-canal hearing aids, so headphones with the tension strap over the top of my head press against my hearing aids, causing feedback and discomfort. This single-ear headphone was the perfect solution.
It fits comfortably - but not tightly - over my ear, so there is no discomfort or feedback. It doesn't have the richness of sound as a cushioned, tight-fitting headphone, but is ample for me to hear the rhythm and worship leader during the musical portion of the service.
I would definitely recommend it as a mix monitor, performance-aid piece of equipment.

My wife likes to listen to talk radio at night and it used to keep me awake. I bought her this earphone so she can listen and I don't have to. Other headsets were too uncomfortable and she wouldn't wear them. This earphone fits either ear and she can shift it around with ease. The earphone is rugged with a strong cord - not the flimsy stuff that comes with the usual earbuds.
