The Mackie d.2 Pro is a professional two-channel DJ mixer for club, performance, mobile and home use. The mixer is designed to deliver the sound and performance expected of the most demanding DJs in a compact package. Among some of the features is FireWire connectivity for direct integration with a Mac or PC. DJs can mix digital audio files from iTunes, Tracktor Scratch, Ableton Live and other software titles without additional hardware, while simultaneously recording DJ sets for CDs, Podcasts, etc.
The d.2 Pro delivers Mackie's renowned audio quality with features that include audiophile grade phono inputs and VCA-based analog circuitry. The connections are comprised of two phono/line switchable inputs, two CD inputs, microphone input and Booth, Record and Main output sections. Additional features include effect send and return connections, Infinium crossfader and fader-contour adjustment. The Mackie d.2 is sure to perform to the standards of professional mobile, broadcast and nightclub DJs.
- FireWire Port
- 13x6 FireWire support allows DJs to access digital-audio files from iTunes, Trackor Scratch and other software titles without additional hardware. DJs may simultaneously record DJ sets for CD burning or Podcasting directly to a Mac or PC.
- Infinium Crossfader
- Mackie's patented Infinium crossfader features a contact-free design that is sure to deliver precise, ultra-smooth response for years.
- VCA-Based Analog Circuitry
- The d.2 uses an all-analog Voltage-Controlled Amplifier (VCA) design with ultra high-performance components. The result delivers maximum headroom and the lowest noise-floor of any mixer in its class.
- Balanced and Unbalanced Output
- The output section features balanced XLR and 1/4" phone outputs, as well as RCA phono unbalanced outputs.
- Crossfade Contour Adjust
- The crossfader and channel-faders feature contour adjust with reverse switches for smooth or abrupt transitions.
- Transform / Line Switches
- The line switches also double as a "transform" effect switch for turntablists and scratch DJs.
- Rugged Design
- The d.2 features a 14-gauge all-steel chassis for maximum durability on the road.
