- Metal Matrix Diaphragm (MMD)
- The low-frequency driver incorporates Infinity's MMD technology, which consists of a stiff aluminum core, anodized on both sides for superior rigidity and strength. It is 3 times as rigid as titanium, and 85 times more rigid than felted paper. This unique design is capable of eliminating unwanted tonal resonances in the signal path. The end result is a full, clear, tight reproduction of super low frequencies.
- Room Adaptive Bass Optimization System
- R.A.B.O.S. is a sophisticated low-frequency calibration system that offers the ability to identify the dominant low-frequency response characteristic of your room. Once this is achieved, R.A.B.O.S. provides the tools needed to optimize the low-frequency characteristics of the speakers to the room they are in, exactly as the professional sound engineers calibrate sound.

- This subwoofer offers a Low-Pass switch that essentially adjusts for low-frequency effects (LFE) single output, and L/R subwoofer dual outputs from your receiver.
