Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
As a wedding photographer, I don't understand why every photographer wouldn't own this device - it is essential. It is small, lightweight, incredibly easy to use and most importantly, FAST. The download speed is fantastic and makes it so easy for my partner and I to hand over our photos to each other with ease. The HyperDrive is small and fits into my camera bag so I don't have to lug around my laptop. Not to mention, I can keep it with me all of the time so I don't have to flip out about it getting stolen like I always did with my laptop. Downloading is a snap and I get to see a thumbnail of all of my photo. I'm so happy that I got this device and it will always have a place in my camera bag!

Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
I bought the drive to back up cards during a few trips I have planned.
I read a few negative reports prior to buying and was a little concerned. It has worked without issue. Its quick and simple. If you want to complain the screen is small but big enough to allow you to confirm the image is there.
the only thing I wish was that it had a more automated way to copy from the drive to my computers hard drive when I get home. I get tired of digging thru all the sub folders to get images in place.
I am happy with it so far and it gives me a way to back up cards in the field. I am thinking of buying a second one to make a double back up of each card. The cost is not to bad and for paid jobs it sure is nice to know you have back ups before you reuse a card.
One side note is it is really simple to replace the drive in this unit. so if your cheap you could bring a couple hard drives and swap them out.

Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
Very user friendly and intuative, was able to use straight out of the box. Quick way to transfer from memory card reader and backup photos. Transfer to computer relatively easy and fast, you don't have to read the manual. Great way to look at photos without the need for the computer.

Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
Unlike the other reviewers. we have been extremely pleased with our hyperdrive. We took it on a 3 week shoot in fairly rough conditions, and had no problems with it. It worked exactly as advertised and was remarkably easy to use. We are currently using it as our primary backup for those images (170Gb worth) while we work through processing them. Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
Although I'd read numerous positive reviews of the ColorSpace Hyperdrive, I'm not a big fan. I'm currently on my third replacement and have not had it work as expected at all. On the other hand, I do have colleagues who love theirs. I just wish that I could too.

Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
I am photojournalist that wanted to carry this for immediate backup for work and on trips. I am now on my fourth Hyperdrive, the last 3 have been warranty replacements or upgrades. I have treated these with kid gloves and all have failed miserably. Of the problems faced, bent pins in the card slot, corrupt files, even after verification was set, locked up both my PC and Mac books and tower, failed to recognize it's own pre-installed hard-drive, and now the thing turns on to the startup screen, never advances to menus, won't download, and stays on until the battery dies or I remove it with screwdriver. I've never been more disappointed with any single piece of gear, and I've yet to have an entire shoot saved without problems.

Comments about Sanho 250GB HyperDrive COLORSPACE Portable Memory Card Reader:
I purchased this device as a second backup to my Epson 5000. The Colorspace does download faster than the Epson out in the field. The screen is large enough to see the images so you know that your images have been successfully downloaded. I found that in the Colorspace it is hard to locate your images once you have them on the device. The directions that you get with the device don't go into much depth about the operation of the device. I think that the explanation and directions of the device are hard to follow and lacking in detail. I'm not that pleased with the difficulty in finding your photos on the device. Since I don't have a lap top I wanted a storage device that held a lot of photos. I will need to buy another device for an up comming trip but I can't recommend this one.
