I am using this battery for taping volleyball tournament matches with a camcorder. The size is more conducive to my needs since the camcorder is so small and compact. The battery life is about right also for doing a day's worth of matches.

Liked it enough to buy another one... My only complaints are that my Sony HDR-CX100 handycam will say that is has more time left than it really does... Like it will say 250 min. remaining but if I timed it it would definitely be less than that... not by a whole lot - just enough to notice. And finally it does take a while to charge if you don't have a separate charger. But for [$] it is definitely worth it (hence I got another one in case I am away from an outlet for extended periods of time).
