Product have broked screw for filter mount. Camera flip screen very close and rub on Matte Box. Filters frame flex in mounting place. Side flaps not included but cost too much for this plastic peace.

I use this Matte Box for documentaries and other outdoor productions. It is a great unit although some of the plastic parts are somewhat weak.

Comments about Cavision MB4510-H2EX1R 4x5.65 Hard Shade 16x9 Matte Box:
Works and fits well. Rods support matte box well. Filter holder a little clumsy and hard to rotate because of very little room around the mic.
French flag can only be up or down, and does not have the ability to have varying positions without using an allen key.
For price it represents great value, and isless than half the cost of similar products

Comments about Cavision MB4510-H2EX1R 4x5.65 Hard Shade 16x9 Matte Box:
Overall I found this to have exceeded my expectations, however there are a few minor issues. The rotating filter stage is a bit sticky in a few places, I'm going to contact Cavision and see if this is common. The mounting system for the rods, while generally good and very solid - it creates an issue if you plan on using a follow focus system. The part of the mount that holds the rods extends too far forward and doesn't allow much room to fit a follow focus system on the rods. If your FF fits, there is still no room to fit a servo for iris or zoom control. The nice thing about it however, it moves the tripod mount closer to the front of the camera and helps make the setup more balanced on a tripod. Cavision makes a different, non-quick release system that would be more suitable for the EX1, as it can be setup in either position (extending forward under the lens, or in a "C" shape under the cameras tripod mounting point). The french flap is a nice addition to the package, but doesn't come off easily - it requires removing 4 screws, which can be time consuming.
