The Delkin Devices Archival Gold DVD-R 'Scratch Armor' Recordable Disc (Spindle Pack of 25) is a disc with an archival life of more than 100 years. This disc has a storage capacity of 4.7GB, or two hours of recording time. It has an 8X write speed. The key component is gold, one of the most inert, reflective elements on earth, which makes it ideal to resist the effects of temperature and humidity. This characteristic prevents oxidation, a common cause of failure in most DVD discs. A spindle is included, to provide safe storage for the discs.
