The low-frequency driver is manufactured with JBL's Radiator Plus technology, which adds unsurpassed rigidity and strength to the flat panel woofer.
In addition, this speaker offers great features such as dual 3" midrange drivers, 1" pure titanium dome tweeter, enclosed rear (baffle) box, tweeter level control, boundary compensation control, space-saving flush-mount design, 200W of peak power, and a full range of audio frequencies to complement a variety of your audio selections. - EOS Waveguide
- This powerful home theater speaker is designed with JBL's proprietary EOS Waveguide technology that realizes the sonic response of your listening environment. This unique technology ensures smooth audio distribution, and reduces the unwanted reflective sound from floors and ceilings with a controlled downward dispersion.
- 3-Way Speaker Configuration
- Due to its 3-way speaker design and quality cones, this speaker reproduces a full-range of frequencies and lifelike imaging.
- Pure Titanium Tweeter Design
- It has the ability direct the high frequencies toward your listening position by incorporating a unique dome tweeter with integral waveguide technology. For optimal performance, the loudspeakers should be placed an equal distance from your listening position and separated so that the angle between them, at the listening position, is between 40 and 60 degrees.
- Boundary Compensation Control
- This control is designed to be engaged when positioning the loudspeaker within two feet of another surface to eliminate the bass peak caused by the second surface and to maintain a smooth, natural bass response.
- Enclosed Rear Back Box
- This speaker's down-firing, pendant-style, enclosed rear back box design strategically projects the audio signal back into the room, eliminating the possibility of loosing the desired lows into the ceiling structure.

- Locate your speaker location, cut the drywall, connect the speaker wires and mount the loudspeaker; it's that simple. This speaker includes a cutting template sheet for retrofit applications, or for new construction installations use an optional rough-in frame model RIF10C.
- Versatile Mounting Brackets
- This speaker features dog-ear mounting clamps that swing out to securely grip your wall from the inside. Because it need not be mounted to a stud, this speaker can be strategically placed for optimal sonic performance.
- Paintable Frame and Grille
- Both the frame and grille can be painted to blend into the existing environment.
