Comments about Pioneer DV-310-K DVD Player (Black):
I was looking for a DVD player with USB capabilities to play multi-format movies and that's what I got!! I have loaded several movies onto a USB Thumb Drive and presto...they have all worked perfectly in the player. The only knock on the player is that I don't like the remote (as most devices I have) as it is not set up to operate in the dark. I watch movies in complete darkness (movie theater atmosphere) and without remotes with backlights you fumble with them to memorize buttons which is not how I'd prefer to do it. Therefore, I have to program my high speed remote to serve as the remote for this player (and most of my other devices) to see it in the dark. Otherwise...great player for the price for sure!!

Comments about Pioneer DV-310-K DVD Player (Black):
I bought this DVD player specifically for the USB feature. I do a lot of downloading and used to have to burn movies and shows on a DVD....only to watch them once and discard...I could have used a rewritable DVD but now I just load onto a "thumb" drive and I'm good to go! No long burn times...potential burn errors...wasted DVD's. This unit is a very nice piece in all regards.

Comments about Pioneer DV-310-K DVD Player (Black):
If you watch movies in different formats, codecs, etc...
I would recommend a Pioneer player, they usually respond very well to any format on any disc. I have owned Pioneer players for a few years, and compared to other brands, they have always performed flawlessly.
I only wish that the "de-zoning" method was a bit easier
