Comments about Canon DC-320 DVD Camcorder:
The camcorder is very small, compact and well designed. The new Canon DC420 is the same camcorder by Canon. The camcorder records onto
-R or -RW and -DL mini DVD's. Once you have finalized the disc, you can playback on most DVD players. The Canon DC330 offers the Fire Wire which can plug into your computer or DVD stand alone recorders to copy to regular size DVDs.
PROS: Clear, Crisp recordings, fairly EZ to operate and understand (the manual). Nice photos too !
Disappointment(s) : No car adapter charger, but can be ordered online by many companies.
So if you are taking a trip and don't have anywhere to plug into, get the car adapter charger.
The software which comes with the DC330 is not easy to register with Corel, com. When you click connect to obtain registration code, it fails to do such. But there are ways to work around this by trial and error. The software is good, once you get over the hurdle of trying to setup the program.
SUMMARY: This camera is a surprise in its size, variety of functions and special effects, and Canon once again delivers a great product. Sound is A+
Good going Canon !

Comments about Canon DC-320 DVD Camcorder:
My wife selected this unit as a long-service gift from her employer. She is a total technophobe but learned to use the basic features in an afternoon. Had to purchase the SDHC card and a SANDISK USB reader for it for the still pictures, which was pricey. Negatives are that it will not finalize a DVD-RW unless battery is fully charged or it's on the AC adapter (no message or clue as to this in the manuals), and battery life is not very long so I will be ordering a second battery. I would buy it again.

Comments about Canon DC-320 DVD Camcorder:
I bought this camera for my wife who got the movie bug while we were on vacation. I showed her how to use her Canon Sureshot Camera for video too and she was hooked. I did a lot of research and found that the Canon fit everything we needed to get started. It also had the most favorable reviews from users. The camera looks to be well made and easy to use. I like the fact it takes mini-DVD's and SD cards for recording. It also has a still picture feature. I'm a big Canon fan and know we won't be disppointed.

This camcorder is very light weight, easy to use, and has great picture quality. I do wish the still photo option had a higher megapixel count though.
