The X450 Black Max Power Amplifier from Bogen is powered by 450W per channel at 70V. Black Max amplifiers are designed with high efficiency class H amplification. The auto-sleep feature makes this amp ideal for continuously powered systems. The X450 features rear mounted volume controls, low-cut filters on each input and pluggable input terminal strips designed for permanent installations. Integrated power sequencing for controlling multiple Black Max amps in large systems help prevent in-rush problems. These features are packed in to a 14-gauge heavy duty chassis that only occupies 2 rack spaces.

This was an easy to install Dual channel amp. It packed everything I needed to turn a horrible old system into a quality sounding set up that one would be proud of.Of course I had to swap out several components and put in a sweet Gator rack. All in all this amp was indeed the backbone of the system but it has proven itself more than worthy.I built a shrine around it and all the listeners come and bow down to it.
