The Super-slim styling of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 Digital Camera incorporates an impressive range of high tech features including a surprising 5x zoom super sharp Carl Zeiss lens that utilizes Sony's acclaimed Steady-Shot image stabilization. It also has 10.1 megapixels of image resolution for astounding photo detail, and an enormous 3.5" widescreen touch-panel LCD that fills the camera back.

- The DSC-T300 can measure auto-focus at 9 points over the image, giving you greater creative freedom to compose your image, and place your subjects away from the center of the image, yielding a more interesting composition.

- The Cyber-shot DSC-T300 intelligently "crops into" the central portion of interest in your photo without sacrificing full CCD resolution - avoiding the image degradation of digital zooms.
- Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN)
- When using Sony's exclusive intelligent scene recognition (iSCN), the camera automatically select the optimal settings for the best photo results by automatically detecting up to five scenes, and choosing the best setting for the situation. In the advanced iSCN mode, the camera will shoot using the user's settings and then automatically step in and take a second shot with optimized settings. If the camera determines that the user's settings are best, then a second photo is not taken.

- The exclusive Sony Bionz high-speed processing engine provides the T300 with D-range optimization that preserves image data in bright highlights and reveals more detail in shadows or backlit areas.
- Face Detection-2 and Smile Shutter Mode
- Sony's latest Face Detection technology recognizes up to 8 faces in a photo and automatically controls focus, exposure, color and flash to bring out the best in everyone. The Smile Shutter Mode helps you capture more smiles by shooting automatically when your subject laughs, smiles, even grins after the focus has been fixed. You select the person to watch and the expression to catch and the Face Detection system and intelligent Smile Shutter algorithm do the rest. Furthermore users can apply "child priority" or "adult priority" in smile shutter mode to capture photos only when the intended subjects smile.
- MPEG Movie VX Fine Mode
- The DSC-T300 can capture VGA (640 x 480) audio/video clips at high frame rate (up to 30 frames per second), with length limited only by the capacity of your media. The camera can also record standard quality and presentation quality videos for viewing on your computer screen or using video clips on web pages.
- Built-in and Removable Memory
- With 15MB of built in memory, the DSC-T300 allows you to shoot photos without a flash memory card so you can always get your shot even if you forgot your card. You can easily transfer your images from camera memory to optional Memory Stick Duo media, upload shots to your computer or make prints on your digital printer. The camera also accepts high speed, and high capacity Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo cards that are currently available in capacities up to 8GB.
- 3.5" Widescreen Clear Photo LCD Plus Display with Touch-Screen Operation
- The huge 3.5" Widescreen Clear Photo LCD Plus displays photos in superb clarity and natural color, and incorporates an AR (anti-reflective) coating for excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. Furthermore, the touch-panel LCD replaces small buttons with simple on-screen icons and a user-friendly interface that make camera operation faster and simpler.
- In-camera Retouching and Red-Eye Reduction
- Add creative effects to photos after you shoot. Included effects are soft edge filter to soften backgrounds, cross filter to place starry "dazzles" at highlight points, partial color filter to mute surrounding colors and fish-eye filter to create interesting results. The red-eye reduction feature reduces irritating "glowing eyes" that can ruin even the most creative photos at the touch of a button.
- HD Output
- View your still photos from your DSC-T300 Camera with spectacular clarity and detail directly on a Sony Bravia HDVT or other compatible HDTV screens with an optional HD solution such as a Cyber-shot cradle/charger with component cable output, or component cable directly to your HDTV. Then watch as your photos come alive, accompanied by your choice of visual effects and any of four preset musical selections stored in memory or your favorite MP3 tunes downloaded from a PC to your camera for use as background music.

- The supplied NP-BD1 InfoLithium rechargeable battery lets you shoot up to 250 pictures on a full charge, recharges quickly and easily, and shows you about how much shooting capability remains.
