This Impact Collapsible Background is a small, easy to use accessory for shooting small objects or simple headshots. This background sets-up and folds easily and comes in its own see-thru storage bag.
The two-sided feature gives you the flexibility to take one background to a job rather than two. It also allows you to quickly shoot the same portrait with two different backgrounds, thereby giving your client two different "looks" to choose from.
Note! Colors depicted may vary slightly, due to differences in computer monitors, printed media, and variances in manufacturer's dyes or paints. In addition, this product may be folded for storage a number of ways.

I was in search of an inexpensive green screen that was portable and found this bundle of a collapsible, reversible green/blue screen that seemed to fit my needs, and it came bundled with its own stand, how perfect.
Well the stand wasn't designed specifically for the green screen. More on that later, (there is a separate review on the stand)
The screen comes in a durable looking fabric carrying case. Unzip the case and removing the screen is straight forward. The screen has a strong flex-steel frame that pops open easily. It is covered with a canvas like material, blue on one side, green on the other. The fabric is a little coarser than I expected and I was afraid that the wrinkles would be apparent and cause a problem. I envisioned trying to iron or steam the fabric before being able to use it.
I have since shot three short videos using this screen that I edited using Adobe Premiere Elements and everything worked perfectly. I am very happy with this choice. The only real problem I had was collapsing the screen to pack it away. I think it took me about 10 tries to get it right. The flex-steel frame is quite stiff (as it should be) and it will take practice to turn the corners in so that the frame forms three coils of the SAME size to achieve the properly sized round shape to fit back into the zippered case. Any instruction sheet with illustrations would have been really handy.
The stand arrived in a separate box. The clips don't easily grasp the green screen. This is because the screen's frame is flex-steel that is about 1/2" wide, but, with a little effort it is doable. I quickly realize that the screen is too heavy for the stand to support from the side. That's when I realize that the hole on the other end of the boom is probably meant to be an anchor point for some type of counterweight ( a newbie issue).
The stand appears to be well made and is probably excellent for the use it was designed for. I expect to find it useful for a number of things. It would be great if there were a bag for carrying it or perhaps an optional case.
The cons were the parts coming loose in shipping and the lack of an instruction sheet with a parts assembly and breakdown diagram. The user is left to discovery everything on their own.

Fabric is not so good.

We use this outdoor usually for mobile keying of medium size objects and people from the waist up (the size doesn't let you easily to full body, although it's not impossible).
Pro: It's easy to collapse and stores at a good size. Blue on one side and green on the other - which has been useful a couple times.
Con: Still kind of floppy when open, so it takes two people to hold it flat enough to get even lighting. The fabric has wrinkles that are hard to get rid of. Our copy had little white water spots on the blue side, which was annoying. Seems like more attention needs to be paid to the fabric if this product were to improve.
Overall, great portable greenscreen for the price. But you have to clean it up and iron it a bit.m Nowhere near perfect. If you have more money, get something else.

Bought the green screen to have a bit of fun with some of the video work I'm doing. Was impressed at how such a large backdrop collapses into such a small, easy to carry thing.

Comments about Impact Collapsible Background - 5 x 7' (Chroma Blue/Chroma Green):
Full size, easy to set up and use. I needed to watch the B&H video a few times to get used to folding it back up. It worked extremely well as a backdrop for ID badge photos and also as a "green screen" that I photoshopped different backgrounds on for photos for my daughter. This is a very reasonable and very versatile tool. The "folds" that others mentioned are really not visible and do not affect photoshopping the greenscreen (or bluescreen).

Comments about Impact Collapsible Background - 5 x 7' (Chroma Blue/Chroma Green):
I've been looking for a chroma background for some time but have been reluctant to buy roll material because I don't have the room to deploy and store rolls, and they're far from portable. This collapsable chroma background on the other hand was perfect fit for me because it's portable and folds down to about a two foot circle. It's easy to deploy (just pull it out and pop it open) and although the fabric has wrinkles when it's first deployed from its carrying bag, they're usually gone within a few minutes. Also, I thought the fabric was going to be cheap nylon but its actually nice fabric that doesn't glare like I expected. The metal ring is wide and durable and once it's deployed its sturdy enough to stand up using only one stand. Very good value for the money and I couldn't be happier with it.

This background is great especially with the digital background items. You can take it where ever and it's compact with it's own bag. My only draw back is that I'm short in stature so I haven't been able to master getting it curled back into the bag..This is my only con with it.

Once you get the hang of folding this bad boy, its easy as pie to maneuver. I would have liked another set of handles on both sides, as was shown on the listing, but it only had handles on the top and the one side.
Other than that, I can work with this one…no problem. 8-)

Overall the background works great. It's light weight, very portable and easy to set up. The only complaint is the soft storage case that comes with it seems to have poor stitching in the seems. This is why we rated it 4 starts in stead of 5.

Color is great, fabric will wrinkle to the eye, but does not show up on camera. Only one strap on the top unlike what the B&H product picture shows. When unfolded the screen will not lay flat, it is always bowed one way or the other.
All in all I did get what I wanted for the price - a portable green/blue screen. Disappointed most by the bowed frame, but what do you expect when all other options are nearly double the $$$? It still works well for easy setup on interviews.

it works fine... a bit easier to wrinkle than i would have hoped, and with no instructions on how to fold it back up (believe me it will make you crazy) you run the risk of tearing it trying. add a one-pager on how to set it up and tear it down and it's a great deal.

Bought this for some interviews. Big plus is the size, you could do a three shot if placed horizontaly. Getting it back in its bag does take practice. My only con is that it will not stay flat. It is slightly twisted, and needs to be attached to stands to stay flat. And the stands need to be sandbagged as the twist is strong enought to pull the stands over. Otherwise I am happy.

I use this background for talking heads in training videos. Works like a champ. Having the option to go green or blue is a plus. If you watch the demo video, refolding the thing and getting it back in its carry case is no big deal. It does wrinkle a bit, so ironing it out is a good idea if possible.

I am a professional On Site Photographer and really enjoy this product. This Collapsible Background is a very valuable asset to my business. It has already paid for itself. It is very affordable, collapsible to fit anywhere or to use in a small studio. I wish that I would have ordered one years ago. I don't find anything negative about this product all positive.

Comments about Impact Collapsible Background - 5 x 7' (Chroma Blue/Chroma Green):
I use the background mostly with legal depositions, where I need a quick and uniform background for a talking head shot. It can be leaned against a wall or using the straps set up with one or two stands. It has solid even color saturation for chroma keys and any wrinkles can be easily worked out with a clothing steamer. The storage case is also a great for keeping the fabrics clean during transport.

Comments about Impact Collapsible Background - 5 x 7' (Chroma Blue/Chroma Green):
As with the other colors made by Impact, this collapsible background does what it is supposed to do. The material is thick enough to leave no real concern of color bleed from the reverse, and yes, it does fold up into the included bag.
My only frustrations with the unit are that the bags have very flimsy zippers, and the background is nearly impossible to fold small enough to fit without busting through the zipper after a few uses. The frame is a bit on the thick side, so the background has a tendency to remain slightly twisted when open, but that's a really minor issue that can be resolved with a clamp.
I'd buy others from Impact if I needed more.
