The printer can deliver print speeds up to 22 ppm black and 18 ppm color, yet it still produce laser-quality black text, vivid color graphics and business-quality photos. Furthermore the HP Vivera Inks give you the confidence that your black-and-white and color documents will last for decades when archived.
This versatile printer makes it possible to print and share photos in a variety of sizes and to add more colorful images to your creative and business projects. Plus, with the HP Officejet H470, photo printing is simple and convenient. You can even print 4 by 6 inch borderless photos to share with friends and family.
The extremely compact size of this printer means that you can easily carry it with you and print wherever you go. You can print directly from notebook computers, PDAs, cameras, and memory cards, using the printer's USB port and card slots. The optional easy-to-install and easy-to-recharge HP lithium-ion battery stores enough power to print up to 480 pages per charge when an electrical outlet is not available.

Depending on your individual needs, this portable delivers. There are 3 varieties of this model which offer a rechargeable battery, wifi, wireless and bluetooth. Its compact, prints photos and text well. Some folks complain about sub-par prints but that is due to not using the recommended Photo Cartridge or other cartridges for crisp/sharp text. Works like a champ!

I bought this for my wife. We needed a small footprint, because her work station is relatively tight. We had a 450 before this one, which served us well, but finally died on us after almost 7 years! Not bad hey! Let's hope the H470 does as well. Print quality is excellent, speed is on par ... we're very happy with this product.

I travel frequently and have used this printer many times while on the road. The print quality is great and it takes up little space at the hotel room desk. It packs easily as well.
Previous posts have suggested a problem with configuration. I have experienced none.

I have not used the printer in the field—yet. But the tests I have done in house suggest this was a good buy. It prints fast and the final product is on a par with all of our other printers. I would recommend this to anyone who needs printing while on the road. Oh, and it fits nicely into a laptop bat to boot!
