Impact Super Collapsible Background - 8 x 16' (Black)
Impact Super Collapsible Backgrounds are the perfect addition to any studio that shoots portraits, video or TV work. These over-sized backgrounds set up and collapse with ease. They get readily stored in their carry bag which can then be tossed into the trunk of your car.

Quicker than standard background rigging for location portrait shooting. Make sure the area is clear, you have an 8' ceiling, and a bare wall on which to lean it before opening. Also open and close it a few times before taking it on location as getting it back to a 3' circle can be tricky.

This background is good for one to two people in a portrait. It gets a bit tricky when you have a family of 4. However it is great for storing and travel. I would like them to come up with a fabric that doesn't wrinkle so much. I ironed it the first time I set it up and I do touch ups each time I use it. If I had a dedicated space I would leave it up. I can't fold it up by myself, it is a two person job or a one person if you you taller then me. I have it in black and white. I do like it's manageable size. I can put it up by myself and it doesn't take to much space. I use one bay of a two car garage for my studio space.

Overall, I liked the background. It was useful and worked as advertised. I used it on pictures of my kid and thought it worked great. It was a little hard to fold back and collapse it into the case. It definitely takes 2 people to help fold it back. It was a little heavy but that is to be expected. The background was also able to stand up when leaned against the wall, which was nice as we did not have to worry about it falling.

I love this beast! This thing is huge, strong, very black, but at the same time easy to set up, easy to move, and sturdy. Folds up small, is easy to transport. I LOVE IT!

I was very pleased with the craftsmanship of the Impact background. Although it is big, it fit nicely against the wall in my house. I actually liked the construction better than a similar background that I got from Botero. The only "issue" is with folding back up...it takes some practice but the video that B&H has on youtube was very helpful!

When I ordered this I figured it would be great for shooting at home in a corner of my office. But this thing is massive. It needs a stand to hold it up or to be propped against a tree or the side of your house. The fabric pretty much stays wrinkled the whole time. Collapsing it takes some getting used to but over all it is a great background.

I am a professional photographer who needed a background for on the go occasions when I'm shooting on location and this background is perfect! It folds down very conmpactly, is made out of a more quality fabric than I expected, and most inportantly produces great portraits. I thinks this is a great value and would reccomend it to anyone!

I had no idea just how large a 8x16' collapsible background was going to be till I opened it, this thing is huge, in fact it comes much closer to being 9' tall than 8' - so I'd recommend this size for a studio environment and not for location shooting, unless you have the room. Even when it's folded, it is still fairly large and bulky. But for the inexpensive price, the quality is actually quite good. I thought it was worth the money and would buy other backgrounds of this brand.
