I have been working with a wacom intuos 3 for the past 4 years, 5 days a week. For my home computer I didn't feel like spending that much money $400+ for another wacom. Well, after doing a lot of research I decided to give this pad a try, and guess what?!!! It is as close to a wacom as you can get. It is a very good tablet. As a matter or fact, I like the spinning knobs on top better than the wacom and the 34 macro keys also rule. Now, the wacom does have kinda of a high end feel to it that this one does not compare but comes close to. Also the wacom has tilt options that this one does not; but unless the tilt option is that important to you, this Adesso pad is just perfect for photoshop work and any graphic design project. The only consideration you must take is when it comes to working with Corel painter which having the tilt option does make a difference. Otherwise, this pad will do it. You don't have to dish out the money for a wacom unnecessarily. Oh, also the driver works fine with Windows 7.

I use the tablet for graphics - creating original logos, artwork etc on a MacBook OS10.5.
I had to download the updated software from the site - which the 'troubleshooting' section recommended - it worked very smoothly for drawing after that, but before, it had a double cursor and just jumped all over.
Since getting it set up properly it runs well - it's VERY large, and my studio is not large, so I have to put it away when I'm not using it.
I haven't set all the function keys yet - those that I have, work fine.
I'd recommend because for the price, it is worth it - but as you'd expect for the price, it isn't top of the line.

Being left handed ive never found a comfortable use for the mouse. Either you use your right hand and thus are able to use any computer, or you use your left hand and are forced to flip your brain on it's side every time you pick up a laptop that isn't your own. This is the perfect solution.
The pen sensitivity is excellent, creating fine to coarse brush widths with small amounts of pressure. The pad is very large, and adapts to the screensize well. The programmable side tabs are excellent for shortcut keys (and so numerous get ready to print out some peel and stick labels), making the absence of a keyboard not a problem for hardcore photoshop users. Overall no complaints, yet, about 100+ hours of use so far. Surprised at how well it adapts to multiple software applications, but I bought it to use with PhotoShop; and for that purpose it excels.

This is a pretty good product. Learning curve is quick and it is not as expensive as WACOM...
Also comes bundled with ArtRage 2.5 and Adobe Elements 8...

I love everything about this tablet so far. It's a fantastic size and goes great with Sketchbook Pro 2011. It was also considerably cheaper than a comparable Intous tablet.
I mainly use this tablet for sketching and artwork creation. The sensitivity of the pen is great, as are the ergonomics. It is also a very nice looking device and compliments my new iMac well.
I would recommend this tablet to everyone.

I bought this tablet for my daughter who is in a graphic design class and is also an artist in her own right. She asked for a wacom, which was alot of money. On a wing and a prayer I bought her this Adesso. (She is 6,000 miles away overseas and if it was wrong we'd all be up the creek). She loves it. She said it is everything she dreamed of and more.

I use this product for 2D use within photoshop, as well as within a 3D application. I have found this product to have a very optimized design. The writing area is just the right size, and has more than enough sensitivity. The one thing that I dont really like is that the pen is advertised to detect 1080 different levels of pressure, but even with tireless calibration I have only been able to get the value up to around 800. That said, its still more sensitive than some other tablets out there.
