I think it's the optimum sized card for shooting 8-10Mpx Raws, allowing you to shoot somewhere around 200 shots. 100 seems too few for me, 400 seems a lot (imagine loosing 400 shots).
And the "Ultra" series seems fast enogh for me on the entry-type DSLRs and a little older advanced DSLRs (EOS 20d like). For the latest generation DLSRs (EOS 40d like) i would recomment the Extreme III series.

I usually use Ultra II's, but after a recent close call at a wedding I decided to buy a couple extra backups. The speed on these was definitely off in comparison and I won't depend on these, but as a second line backup it's better than any non-SanDisk card I've had the misfortune to use.

I read recently it's a good idea to shoot events with multiple smaller cards than 1 or 2 large cards. That way if a card fails, you only lose a small part of your shoot, not a large part. So I quick ordered these cards before my last event shoot. Having them gave me great peace of mind.

My new compact flash card arrived in the nick of time. The same day that the card came a hot air balloon landed in my front yard. The old CF card in my camera was corrupt, so I needed to load the new card in right away. I was able to rip open the package, install the card in the camera, and shoot the entire event from off-loading of passengers to folding up the balloon. The no-hassle installation made it easy to go from lock & load to go.

I needed a small-end memory card for my camera to hold only some camera settings I have preset on my Nikon D300s. This fits the bill perfectly. Enough space, great value and SanDisk is a very reliable brand. You can't go wrong.

I put the flash card to use immediately with complete success. I've encountered no problems. It seems a bit slow in recording photo data, but considering the price I have no complaint. It's a great flash card for the price and I highly recommed it over other similar cards.
