I use the camera armor on a Nikon D300. The camera armor is easy to put on and the controls are easy to access. It should help with bumping the camera and prevent scratches.

With armor on it is hard to view what mode the camera is in.

Bottom piece dosn't stay on camera have to use tri-pod mount or tape to keep on.

Gives outstanding grip improvement under all conditions ,hot, wet everglades , hot, dry Moab in summer . way cold building tops shooting construction on floor 87 with 30 mph wind in Manhattan winter.It keeps the camera from wildly swinging around your body when maneuvering about. great bump protection, although it I did slip a camera off my shoulder to hard floor with NO damage .I couldn't be happier . I would gladly pay more for the product . fresh splashed cement seems to just wipe off with no sweat !

Everyone needs to buy this product. If you are active with your camera outside or inside, you really need to consider this product. It really protects the camera from getting scratched. And as much as you will invest in the Nikon D300 this will seem like pennies. Do youself a favor and buy it when you buy your camera to keep your camera like new.

I bought this for events when I know I will be bumping my D300 around. It's shaped nicely to fit the camera snug. It does make for a bigger grip, but the advantage of protection outweighs the difference. Only complaint is the bottom protection piece is hard to get and keep on when shooting.

I purchased the body armor and have been very
satisfied with it. Gives good prtection to the
camera body and is light weight, and gives me a
better grip on the camera

The Camera Armor is a nice snug fit for the camera body and allows easy access to the memory card and battery slots, although I don't have much use for the lens protector. I plan to leave it on the camera all the time, since the control buttons are readily accessible. I highly recommend this product.

The Camera Armor[...] and was a general disappointment.While it might provide some additional impact protection if I was hanging it off my harness on a big wall in Yosemite, none of the critical openings are covered by the armor (buttons, card door, etc.)There is no additional splash protection provided by the Camera Armor, and the bottom section is totally incompatible with custom body plates.Ours is on the return pile.
