Westcott Snoot, Grid and Gel Set for Strobelite
This is a Westcott Snoot, Grid and Gel Set designed to fit the Strobelite series of monolights. Attach the snoot directly to the monolight, in place of the reflector. It will greatly diminish the spread of the light emitted. For even more pinpoint control, attach the grid holder and grid to the front of the snoot. If you would like to alter the color of the light as well, slip one of the colored gels, or the diffuser gel into the grid holder.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I use it on my Photoflex Starflash monolights. I'm very pleased with it.

This is used as "Hair Light" attachment on a Wescott Strobelite Plus.
Attaches easily and comes with a grid and gels.
The gels are a little flimsy but what can you expect from thin colored plastic?

I purchased the Snoot to use for some low key lighting shots. The price can't be beat. The only concern for me is how well the Grid will hold up over time. The Honeycomb material seems a little fragile for repeated installation and removal. Still all in all it can't be beat for the price
