Comments about Akai MPC5000 Sampling Workstation:
I purchased the Akai MPC 5000 sampling workstation and i am completely satisfied. The 5000 is a complete peice. A sampler with a very suficent amount of memory before i put in the extra memory card. It also has a built in 80 GB hard drive which can be upgraded to a 500 GB hard drive. The 5000 also has a slot for a 2 GB compact flash card which allows you to store sounds, songs and program files. Another great feature is the option cd drive. The cd will allow you to acually mix your songs within the machine and burn it straight to cd. The overall machine is great and it definitely gets the job done. It's 100% worth ever penny. I would definitely recommend this machine to anybody planning to purchase the Akai MPC 5000.

Comments about Akai MPC5000 Sampling Workstation:
Can you say music is now on another level! I have neer touched and MPC before the 5000. We are computer producers. Now that we have the MPC5000 in our camp; we are on a whole nother level. You can create your own sample,s beats, music and more. You can actually produce every thing here, inclucing vocals. You can make chromatic keys. We give it a 5 out of 5. I only wish they went digital in stead of analog.
