Comments about LaCie 324 24" Widescreen LCD Computer Monitor with Colorimeter:
I bought this monitor to plug on my old powerbook 17" and I am now able to see my photos as the will appear out of the printer.

Comments about LaCie 324 24" Widescreen LCD Computer Monitor with Colorimeter:
This monitor is amazing for editing photographs and knowing that your calibration is going to match the photo lab. Its large screen and clarity gives the user plenty of room to enlarge images and edit small areas with adequate magnification. The calibration software was easy to use, and the three extra USB ports on the side really come in handy.

Comments about LaCie 324 24" Widescreen LCD Computer Monitor with Colorimeter:
Great monitor. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that the instructions don't always match this particular model. Setup is simple and fast. Resolution is outstanding. Calibration is simple. In fact, I would prefer more controls but the results are totally satisfactory. I am a wildlife/bird photographer and require a monitor that insures my prints are what I see: this does that.

Comments about LaCie 324 24" Widescreen LCD Computer Monitor with Colorimeter:
I'm a professional portrait photographer who does lots of creative color-tinting and artistic effects...and I design my own album spreads too...so with so much of my work I rely on my color-calibrating over my lab doing it for me. Having a monitor that will allow me to correctly edit photos is a MUST.Happily surprising...the monitor was perfect straight out of the box. I've had it for a couple of weeks and haven't needed to spend any time on messing with the settings. I know I will need to get the blue-calibrating thing on there eventually...but being busy right now, its nice not having to worry about it right way. [...]The only con I can think of so far is that I have a hard time being able to tell how Sharp my images are. Sometimes when I'm looking at an image trying to determine whether or not to keep it or cut it, I have to drag it over to my imac screen to be able to tell what exactly was in focus and how sharp it looks. It's a little annoying, but I've only had to do that a hand full of times. The expense was way more than I could pay, but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. And my only alternative (since there seems to be a lack of monitor competition) was a huge, bulky CRT old-school monitor...and I really like my desk space. :) So, I just had to say "Hello Visa".
