We were not aware that in order to hear the beats we have to purchase an amplifer. That would be nice to include this information, as the drum machine was for a 15 year old.

I use this product every day to make new beats. Its great for portability and inspiration right on the spot. Its also very easy to learn how to use; you don't even need the instructions. This is also a great crowd pleaser. The XR20 makes music fun and easy and at the same time, its a very professional piece of equipment. I have also meet a lot of new people fascinated by the machine. I have had 20 of my friends say that they are saving up for one. Im glad I bought it!!!
