I received camera and it worked great for 5 days.
Due to, teenager and fragile LCD monitor, there was no day 6. I am disappointed that the screen is so easy to damage. All it took was for her to pick the camera up with thumb on screen and the damage was done. I wish the LCD screen was a customer replacable unit.
Nikon is a great company and I will probably purchase another camera.

We purchased this camera for my son that has a muscle disease that makes his arms quite weak. Concern on weight, ease of button use and placement drove me in the direction of this camera.
It has proved to be a very easy to use camera for him. The display is big and bright. The controls are very simple and easy to figure out.
My only frustration with it is I would like to be able to set it manually when I use it, but I guess that's what my DSLR is for.
Overall a very nice camera. Everyone in the family that has used it likes it.

I purchased this camera for my elderly mother who has no photographic training and is quite the technophobe. Not only is she taking great pics but she easily navigates the menus and has started using the more advanced features of this great little camera. The 3.0 inch display is huge and makes picture taking very easy for her. I have suggested this camera to 4 other people who purchased them as gifts this Christmas and everyone loves them. The only thing this camera needs is a dedicated Li battery as a power source. The 2 AA batteries do not provide enough life.
