Use it for image storage via sata and it works beautifully. Do need to use a UPS as RAID can crash and need rebuild if power is lost. Cust support is not the greatest, but build quality is great.

esata doesn't work and Buffalo support is horrible.
The Lacie Raid is MUCH better!

I use only for back-up so far, but will likely begin storing photographs , using it as a subsidiary hard drive.
