The SanDisk 2GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card is designed exclusively for high-end, professional photographers who work under extreme conditions and expect the very best in products and support services.
This card has a minimum of 20MB/second sequential write and read speed (based on SanDisk internal testing), which allows for faster capturing of large image files to the card, faster viewing of images and faster data transfer rates.

I Purchased two of them. In my Canon 5D Mark II they are very fast. In my EOS Digital Rebel 6MP they are slightly faster than the Ultra IIs, but that is the camera and not the card. I originally purchased them for the Rebel (before I had the 5D Mark II).
I shoot mostly wildlife and it's great to no longer have to wait for the card to catch up! The Extreme III is fast enough that I have not had to wait at all between bursts. I have thought about the Extreme IV but the Extreme III is fast enough and I have not yet found that it is even close to slowing me down with the way I am shooting.
My next purchase will probably be the 8GB Extreme III. I need more space with my new 5D. On the 2GB I can get around 80 shots. For me the 16GB has a bit too much space. I fear putting too many photos on one card in case something happens like I lose one or if one should ever fail. I typically like to shoot a days worth on one card, then use a new card the next days shoot. I keep the photos on the cards until I get back to my PC and can catalog and make backups.
I have had very good luck with SanDisk and see no reason to switch now. 7 of my 8 cards are SanDisk.

Small but sweet
If you are taking pictures in RAW format, this card is a little small. But otherwise it is a nice card to have.

For the price you can't beat these compact flash cards. Very durable. They may be small, but that's why I have many.

Comments about SanDisk 2GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card:
We are very pleased with the Sandisk Extreme III. For us it is the perfect card for our camera. Our DSLR works exceptionaly well with it and the down loads are really fast. There are larger cards but you don't need them. It is better to have several 2GB cards to keep your pictures on instead of possibly losing everything on a large card.

Comments about SanDisk 2GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card:
I use Sandisk 2GB cards exclusively, primarily because I don't like "putting all of my eggs in one basket." In other words, I carry six-eight 2GB cards as needed and switch them off with one another, downloading them to a portable hard drive as needed. I've never had a Sandisk product fail me, which is why I'm a loyal customer.

These cards have proven to be consistent, reliable, and made extremely well. I'm a professional photographer who is not always dainty with my CF cards. They have been dropped, left in hot vehicles, the extreme cold, used over and over again, and they continue to work flawlessly.

I like the San Disk brand. I am a professional portrait photographer and use them multiple times with no problems. I ordered two 2GB flash cards in the last order I placed; one came with a storage pouch the other didn't. Luck of the draw. Comes with Rescue Pro. A good product for the price.

Comments about SanDisk 2GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card:
I am using only Sandisk Extreme III or IV since I began to work with digital and I never had a problem with them. When my cards are older than 3 years I stop using them as prime cards keeping them as a back up. I prefer not to exceed 4 MB in order not to risk loosing too many shots in case of a card failure (that indeed I never experienced). Now with my Nikon D3 equipped with dual memory slots the flexibility is dramatically increased. Sandisk 2 MB size is still fully compatible with my old but still great Nikon D1X.
