- This subwoofer utilizes a linear tuned-port enclosure that achieves tighter bass by extending deep bass response and eliminates unwanted turbulence.
- Phase Control Switch
- The Phase switch determines whether the subwoofer speaker's piston-like action moves in and out with the main speakers. Proper phase adjustment depends on several variables such as room size, subwoofer placement and listener position. Adjust the phase switch to maximize bass output at the listening position.

I USE THIS SUBWOOFER 4 MOVIES AND MUSIC WITH A 7 CHANNEL SONY RECEIVER WITH 3 PAIRS OF 2 WAY DYNEX SPEAKERS I COULD NOT ASK 4 MORE THIS THING ROCKS , THE SUBWOOFER WAS A NICE ADD ON TO THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM THE BASE SOUNDS RALLY NICE AND CLEAN , IT IS WORTH THE MONEY IF U WANT TO GO LARGE THEN I SUGGEST U GET THE 12 INCH ,[...]HAS THIS PRODUCT FOR ALOT MORE.

This was the last part of my 5.1 system overhaul. I did not want to wire the sub and found this to work with my other JBL center/LR/SLR speakers. Works great. Sounds excellent in adding to impact sounds to fill the total sound experience. Status lights work well (on top of the speaker) to let you know when working or sleep mode. Only change I would suggest, is JBL change the active light to blue (vs. yellow).
