I set this moster up , it was the best receiver I every brought , my wife was Mad because I brought it because it cost [$] for it, but it blew her away when she started to hear it play,so its ok now, so I say buy it because it is a great receiver , O one more thing I watch for 10 months to get the price were I wanted it ...cory

Replaced my vintage Onkyo 909Pro (pro logic- mono surround) with this receiver. Using it in a home theatre setup with a Panasonic PT-AE3000U projector. The sound quality is excellant & complements the beautiful picture perfectly. I am running Polk speakers & a M&K subwoofer. So far there is nothing I do not like about it. As far as pros, the learning remote is nice. Also the on-screen setup display is great & the ability to rename your inputs displayed on the front of the receiver. Just like my old Onkyo this one looks " like a work of art". Highly reccommended.
