    The Fujifilm FinePix F480 Digital Camera is no bigger than a deck of playing cards, yet it is equipped with an 8.2 MegaPixel CCD sensor along with a digital signal processor for improved noise reduction, and a 4.0x wide angle optical zoom lens that captures large groups or distant subjects with ease. Furthermore, the camera includes a QVGA movie mode that can capture up to 30 frames per second with sound.

    This easy-to-operate camera allows users to select from 13 automatic scene settings, including a 'Sunset mode' to emphasize vivid colors, a 'Beach and Snow mode' for minimizing glare in bright situations, and a 'Party mode' for indoor settings, allowing images to retain the natural ambience of the scene in low-light conditions. The FinePix F480 also features Picture Stabilization mode to reduce blurry images that can be caused by camera shake or subject movement, and you can frame your shots, or view your pictures and video clips on the high resolution 2.7" LCD Display right on the back of the camera.

    The 8-megapixel CCD sensor produces sharp, high-resolution pictures with brilliant color that look great, even when enlarged for printing.
    • 4x Wide Angle Optical Zoom Lens
    The 4x optical zoom lens provides an equivalent focal length of 28-112mm in 35mm terms. With its 28mm wide-angle lens, the F480 lets you capture groups of people, imposing buildings and structures, or the grandeur of natural scenery, without worrying about cutting sections of the subject out of the picture. The telephoto capability combined with the power of a 6.9x digital zoom, means that you can enlarge details in your image as much as 27.6x, making it possible to take great close-ups from far away.
    • High Sensitivity
    The FinePix F480 offers high sensitivity of ISO 800 to ensure great photos with crisp, clear detail in various conditions. Pictures come out sharp and blur-free, even when shooting in low light without a flash.
    • Picture Stabilization Technology
    The Picture Stabilization feature of the FinePix F480 automates professional photographic techniques to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low light background detail. Picture Stabilization utilizes higher sensitivities, up to ISO 800 in the F480, an incredibly high signal to noise ratio, and faster shutter and operational speeds to deliver virtually blur free images where conventional digital cameras cannot.
    • Wide Selection of Shooting Modes
    The F480 features a variety of shooting modes including a Mode Dial with 14 Pre-programmed Scene Modes. The pre-programmed settings adjust contrast and exposure to ensure great photos of scenes as varied as Party, Fireworks, Snow, Night, and many more.
    • Movie Mode
    The FinePix F480 can capture QVGA quality movie clips at 30 frames per second with sound - Great for when you're out and you don't have a video camera on-hand.
    • Built-in Memory and Dual Media Slots
    The FinePix F480 includes 12MB of built-in memory so you'll be able to begin shooting, right out of the box. Plus the camera memory can be expanded to over 2GB with either xD-Picture Card or the popular Secure Digital (SD) and even higher capacities are possible with Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Cards.
