Gates XHA1/G1 Housing f/Canon XH-A1 & XH-G1

The Gates XHA1/G1 mechanical underwater housing is designed for the Canon XH-A1 and XH-G1 high definition camcorders. The housing is constructed of bulletproof aluminum and an anodized and urethane sealed finish with stainless steel positive locking safety latches for strength and durability. The housing provides total control of camera functions with reliable mechanical controls, crystal-clear optics, built-in magnified viewfinder and internal color correcting flip filter. Since it is a mechanically controlled housing sealed with o-rings, you don't have to worry about being in a remote area and needing a soldering gun to fix a corroded connector.

The included SWP44B Super Wide-Angle Port is a high quality glass port with a wide-angle lens giving you a super 120° angle of view. The port is small, light and neutrally buoyant. The port also allows full use of the camera's zoom allowing macro video to be shot without changing ports.

The kit also includes the Gates Green Force HID 250 video light system with two 50W HID light heads and articulating arms. The light heads are constructed of aluminum with glass diffusers. The lights will operate to a depth of 500'.

Features include a 55 minute burn time. The 50W HID lamp is 2 to 3 times brighter than a halogen bulb. Each light has a 3800° kelvin color temperature. This is warmer then most HID lamps and will help bring back the reds and yellows into the scene. The glass diffusers are very efficient and produce an even light without hot spots. The lights will cover a 110° area. A bracket to attach the batteries to the housing is included.
