Comments about Sima CR-200 Crank Power Radio & Flashlight:
I have this radio about 10 days and found a lot of troubles tring to get a good reception on AM radios, both in the middle of Buenos Aires city (Argentina) and in open range 300 kms away.
Radio works better with a couple of AA bateries, because it takes a lot of "cranking" to keep the radio several hours working!. I think the crank it should be used only when out of batteries. Remove the batteries when transported in a backpack or bag, because it may turn on very easily.
Light is adecuate for emergencies at home, car, or just camping, althoug the switch seems a little fragile.
Please check dimensions before ordering. I didn't and was surprised that was bigger than expected. No too big, but not for every pocket.
It has an outlet for charging (mobiles?)and an input for power adaptor but no cables of any kind. It should come with a cable and at least Nokia, mini and micro USB adaptors.
Haven't tried yet, but doesn't look very "weatherproof to me...
It's a nice idea, should improve a little. Not sure if I would recomend it. Maybe if it was cheaper... The only pro is the crank, that can be annoying but you'll never run out of power.
Best regards, Enrique

I like the fact that it is able to produse it's own power and it's size, but I'm disapointed that the main reason for my purchase was being able to have a aleart system but wasn't able to get a conection or could verly able to hear it.

Comments about Sima CR-200 Crank Power Radio & Flashlight:
*I plan to use it in an emergency.
*The fact that it can be "cranked".
*Not so great, my mobile phone charger will not fit in the appointed opening for it, there is not a charger that comes with it....two more "extra" charges for me when I would have paid for both initially when I orderded the product.

It is very small and was easy to set up. It is a great thing to have for an emergency, and seems pretty sturdy.
