The Horizon Trio (Mist) from Boston Acoustics is a high-performance tabletop radio designed to combine the best features of an alarm clock with an advanced audio system. This unit incorporates a programmable LCD digital alarm clock with an AM/FM tuner and CD player. By using an available port on this unit, it is also possible to connect your iPod directly to the Trio and play your digital music files.
The Trio includes built-in speakers with a patented Bass Trac electronic variable bass boost. It also features full-range drivers and dual independently tuned acoustic chambers, all of which contribute to a very expansive sound from a relatively small unit. Other features include over-molded rubber controls, a snooze bar, a soft-touch back box, and metal grilles.
