• Progressive Scan: This is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. • High Resolution LP Recording Mode: This DVD recorder offers twice the horizontal resolution (500 lines vs. the 250-line standard) of many other DVD recorders when recording in LP mode. You can fit up to four hours of recordings on one DVD (4.7GB capacity) and still enjoy the crisp, vibrant and exceptionally detailed images delivered by 500 lines of horizontal resolution.

• VIERALink: Connect this DVD recorder to your VIERA flat-panel HDTV via an HDMI cable and the TV channel setting information is automatically downloaded to the recorder. With VIERALink, you don't have to worry about setting the recorder to the right channel every time you want to record something.

• Built-In SD Slot and USB Port: This DVD recorder is equipped with an SD Memory Card slot and USB port, which makes it easy to view photos from your digital camera.
