The Bushnell Medalist Golfing Laser rangefinder is made to provide quick and accurate measurements, primarily for golfers. This rangefinder has multicoated lenses to obtain superior resolution and is resistant to water damage. This is one of Bushnell's 'horizontally configured' units.
The Medalist rangefinder, having no angle compensation capacity, meets the requirements of the USGA's 2006 decision 14-3/0.5 ('Local Rule Permitting Use of Distance-Measuring Device') which allows for rangefinder use in tournament play.
