The Bushnell 2,4 MP Birding Trail Sentry Digital Trail Camera lets users monitor their favorite birding areas. The cameras close focus capability means that you can put it near a bird feeder or in a fruit bearing tree and snap close-up photos of birds in action. The camera provides extended battery life, fast trigger times and weatherproof construction so it can perform without fail in any climate or application. It produces high quality, color photos, and it can be set to take still images or video clips.

The Trail Sentry digital camera is easy to set up and operate. The four toggle switches on the cameras control panel allow the user not only to turn the unit on and off, but to switch from video to still, set the camera's delay time and set the unit to operate during the day or night only, or 24 hours a day. The digital camera is activated by motion, and it uses a passive infrared sensor to detect motion out to 45 feet. When a full color image is captured, it is stamped with the date and time and saved on a removable SD card. The images can then be downloaded to a computer for editing, saving or sharing with friends.

4.0 Megapixel Resolution
The Trail Sentry features a maximum resolution of 4 megapixel with full color and it can be programmed to take still images or video clips.
15" Close Focus
The Close focus capability allows users to set the camera up near a bird feeder or nesting spot to take close-up pictures of birds in action.
Infrared Trigger
The camera will detect and photograph animals from up to 45' away with its motion activated infra-red sensor.
Easily Secured
The Trail Sentry offers several levels of security. It is attached to a tree or post with an extra wide security strap and the waterproof case can also be padlocked to prevent access to the SD card and control panel.
Daytime or Night Operation
The Trail Sentry can be set up to operate during the day or night only, or 24 hours a day. For monitoring active game trails or feeding areas, the camera has a delay feature that sets the camera to record images with 30 seconds, 1-minute and 2-minute delays. For night operation, the camera has a large flash that reach out as far as 30 feet - a light sensor automatically determines when the flash is needed.
Textured Bark-Like Surface
The Textured Surface is colored to look like tree bark and is very well camouflaged when placed properly. Furthermore, the casing is water resistant to survive rain or snow over long periods of time.
Long Operation Period
The camera is powered by four "D" batteries for long operation periods up to 30 days, and the memory can be expanded with high capacity SD cards for hundreds of images. There is also a Low battery indicator that flashes when the available power is at 1/4 full.
Moon Phase Stamp
For hunters who want to correlate deer activity to moon phases, the Trail Sentry will stamp the moon phase on each digital image. The camera also records a more traditional time/Date stamp.
Easy-to-use Controls
The Trail Sentry has a simple interface and four toggle switches that are used to program the camera and set all other functions, even while wearing gloves.
Birding Book & CD-ROM Included
Identify what species of bird you have captured in your pictures with the useful birding reference book and easy-to-use reference CD-ROM.
