This is a very nice TV. Sharp, good contrast and it's even pretty. The plug and play feature is wonderful. You are ready to watch Tv in minutes. Worked well with some of my older equipment, it surprised me.

The TV is being used to show a HD documentary film from a Mac computer as part of a museum exhibit. It runs all day, every day and so far I am very happy with the look and the performance.

Arrived in perfect condition. Had originally ordered the SONY 46" at the same price point but unit was backordered. After seeing some reviews on this Samsung decided to chg order. Good decision. Picture looks great. A lot of menu items to tweak. Try to absorb a little at a time and don't go overboard on any of the adjustments. Chances are it's pretty close from the factory...at least mine was.

I use this TV as a HD monitor for my satellite receiver. I upgraded from a 34 inch CRT HD. The pictures on this Samsung are so sharp, they almost appear 3 dimentional! The screen glare I feared so much turned out to not exist. Movie fans should buy this TV.

It has quite a few very nice TV features I don't use because, I connected it to my PC. I use it as a TV monitor as well as a way to display my digital photos.

Cables were not a problem. Buy them off the internet, not the local store. My Vista system video card offers a DVI output plus a VGA output. I used the VGA out to run my PC monitor with no apparent loss of quality. A $12 DVI to HDMI cable connected the TV to the PC. There may be other hook up options but I am really pleased with this one.

Digital images on the Samsung have excellent resolution and realistic color. As a serious amatuer photographer, I am very fussy about image quality.

I can gather my family and friends in my family room where they all have comfortable seats and a clear view of the 46" Samsung. I don't know of a better way to share my slideshows and individual photos. The audio hook up from the PC is just as simple and effective.

How many times have you wanted to show someone something on your PC screen? People crowd around your monitor and strain their necks and eyes to see. I just click a couple of buttons and throw it up on the big screen where everyone can see it well and comfortably.

One of my chairs is 19 feet away from the screen. Details on the screen are clearly visiblefrom that distance. If my room had viewers seated beyond 20 feet or more away, I believe I would opted for a Samsung 650 in the 50 inch class.

As a monitor, this unit has a full range of screen controls that are easy to operate to deliver just the picture you think is perfect.

I researched this model very carefully before I bought. I am satisfied that I got the most TV for the money. Other units may have larger screens but none offer a better quality.

Any negatives I might have about the unit are nit picky and not worth mentioning.

I love the pictures of my grand daughters on this screen!

Before this TV I've purchased the Sony kdl-46z4100 series in silver. It was a nice lcd tv with thin framework and a nice dark silver finish. But I had to return the tv because there was a stuck pixel. [...]Long story short I got my money back and went with this model. First off I like how Samsung did the packaging of the tv, big difference compared to the sony tv I've bought earlier, then the rich blacks, great color (even on the game consoles, like the PS3+XBOX 360, just awesome). Now the framing of the tv is thicker than the kdl-46z4100, but it's very elegant and sleek. I love it.Believe me this TV is worth your money.Btw, no glare issues on this tv. Where I have this tv placed, my windows in my apartment are on the left side, and even with the room lights are on, there is no glare or reflection affected on this lcd.

I was looking for the largest, highest picture quality, LCD TV within my price range. I did about three weeks of research using [...] and the research really paid off. The picture quality of the 650 is fantastic. The biggest drawback is that there can be a glare from the gloss over the screen depending on the lighting in your room. You just need to be aware of where you are setting it. Some reviewers have knocked the sound quality and the only thing I can say to that is that of course it is not going to have theater quality sound from the set itself. I think the sound quality is better than most sets out there and you really shouldn't worry about this factor.This was a great purchase for me and should be for you too.

This LCD comes extremely close to producing the perfect picture if it doesn't. The colors are very accurate out of the box and if you want everything to be perfectly accurate around 65K it does not take many adjustments to get it there. The viewing angle is large, the blacks are very black and the 120hz is more refined than my other Samsung 120hz LCD. I am very critical of my flat panel preferences. I have 7 of them in my house and to date this one has the best picture. Mind you I don't have a KURO but this baby is beautiful. It is absolutely loaded with adjustment features and it's nice being able to link in to your home network and pull down weather and stock information. Samsung hit a home run with this model.

Best TV dollar for dollar, especially at B&H. The only *MINOR* problem was that the finish where the screen meets the frame has a few spots where light shines through. But its on the bottom and only shows up on some channels. Everything else is perfect.

The LN46A650 is a fantastic LCD. I have it in my family room where there is a lot of light and is just looks amazing all the time day & night. I can have all the lights on at night while my wife or daughter are reading and the picture is bright and the colors are vivid. The sound is really good too. The InfoLink feature is OK but not great. You get weather, news or stock info in a corner of the screen that looks nice but not particularly useful. The remote is excellent. The light button is very useful when the lights are low. I have had this set for 4 weeks and I haven't played with all the menu options but they are well laid out and easy to work with. CR has the 52" model rated as their top LCD and I think the 46 would be tops too if they had rated this size. Overall this TV is excellent.[...] Great price[...]. You can't beat that!

This TV is my first foray into LCD TV and my first full 1080p set - I upgraded from a smaller 720p/1080i CRT, which I thought looked great when used with the PS3/blu-ray. Well... this TV really showed me a thing or two about HDTV! To really show off its capabilities you really need a blu-ray player (even HDTV cable doesn't cut it by comparison) and those films such as Wall-E and Ratatouille that are 100% digital are simply breathtaking. I had also ordered the Samsung LinkStick, which is on back-order from just about every supplier out there, but in the end I simply re-situated my router to behind the TV and just used the Cat5e cable to use the InfoLink features. Good thing too - whilst the InfoLink does have its novelty value, it isn't something I would use terribly often so I'm glad I canceled my order for the LinkStick and saved $40 or so. Otherwise, the Samsung is a near-perfect TV that looks amazing whether it's switched on or not!
Incidentally, I don't really rate the sound on this TV, but it isn't TOO bad - I just felt I shouldn't be too gushing about the set. Besides, compared to the 5.1 through my receiver (HDMI sound through the PS3) there aren't many built-in speakers that would stand up.

I am using this connected to a HD cable box via component cables. The quality is extraordinary. The blacks are jet black. The brightness is excellent. I like it better than Sharp Aquos units I own.

I researched LCD TVs for months before finally buying this Samsung LN46A650. Setup was fast and easy. The Clear QAM tuner detected all the HD channels available on my cable network without a receiver. This TV has one of the sharpest pictures out there. I can't believe how much clearer the HD channels are on this Samsung compared to my Phillips Plasma. The sound is the the only feature lacking on this TV. It's fine for TV viewing, but to match the quality of the picture, you'll want a home theater system. Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Thanks B&H!

We purchased the Samsung LN46A650 LCD set for our living room (it replaced an older Samsung plasma set that we moved to the bedroom). Overall, the picture simply is wonderful, almost three-dimensional in appearance. The image is sharp, the colors are bright and vibrant (an issue, I think, with earlier LCD sets), and the sound is clear. The controls are easy to use (we've experienced no awkwardness with the remote). Set up was a snap. We ordered it online from B&H; they were easy to work with and polite and informative when I had a couple of questions. [...]
