Featuring an AM/FM A/V receiver with a built-in progressive-scan 5-disc DVD/CD player capable 1080p video upscaling for HDTV playback capability. In addition, Samsung also includes a sophisticated 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System capable of delivering a full, clear, and tight sound response. This system consists of two front tower speakers; two surround speakers with a wireless ready module, center speaker, and a 340W subwoofer.

This powerful system offers an HDMI output, Anynet+, multi-format DVD playback, 192KHz/24-bit audio DAC, built-in Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS decoders, DivX, USB Host, iPod connectivity, and XM-Satellite Radio Ready. • High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 1080p Output: If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your home theater, this unit will do the job. It has an integrated digital processor capable of upconverting 1080p HD video through the HDMI output.

• Wireless Rear Speaker Module: The included wireless surround module offers the ability to expand your surround sound home theater system without making unnecessary holes in your walls or floors. It eliminates the need to run messy wiring from the back of the receiver to rear speakers located across the room.

• Progressive Scan: This is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.

• Multi-Format Playback Capability: It offers a full-range of playback capabilities for enjoying movies, music and images. It will playback DVD-Audio/Video, DVD+R/W, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA, and JPEG.

• Auto Sound Calibration (ASC) Setup: Enjoy better sound as the automatic calibration system adjusts for speaker placement, distance and delay. Just hold the included microphone at your listening position and ASC does the rest.

• iPod Connectivity: Samsung offers the ability connect your iPod to the receiver with an iPod docking cradle (included). Your iPod effectively becomes another Samsung component flowing through the system.

• Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) Function: Anynet+ is a function that can be used to operate the system using a Samsung TV remote control, by connecting the unit to a Samsung TV using an HDMI Cable. (This is only available with Samsung TVs that support Anynet+)

• Exceptional Performance: It has playback specifications that meet the standards of professionals with a component video output for high-resolution low-distortion video playback, and an optical digital audio input for exquisite surround-sound reproduction.

• Digital Surround Sound: It reproduces Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS audio at a 24-Bit rate. The dynamic range of this system is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.

• DivX Playback Capabilities: DivX is video compression software which enables high quality video to be compressed into very small files then downloaded onto CD-R or CD-RW and played back with very little loss of quality.

• USB Host Play: You can connect and play files from external USB storage devices such as MP3 players, USB flash memory, etc. using the unit's USB HOST function.

• TV Screen Saver Function: If the system remains in stop mode for 3 minutes, the Samsung logo appears on TV screen, then it automatically switches itself into the power saving mode after 20 minutes in the Screen Saver mode.

• Full-Feature Remote Control: Included with this package is a full-feature remote control capable of executing every command from any angle up to ±30°.
