LumiQuest Snoot - for Shoe Mount Flash
The LumiQuest Snoot isolates the flash output light to a very specific area. This allows illumination of a specific area of a scene with little or no effect on the surrounding area.
Please note that the snoot may affect automatic operation by limiting the illuminated area. Under such circumstances you may have to do some bracketing and/or testing to achieve a proper exposure.

The snoot does not fit well on either my SB600 or SB900. It is universal but it seems to me that it is too big for speedlight work.

I have been looking for a snoot that would work with my outdoor shots at sunrise or sunset, so that I can highlight just the subject. I had to adjust the power of the flash to limit it some, because it is so "concentrated", so it takes some practice. Overall, I am pleased as it fits easily into my camera bag and attaches to my Canon EX Speedlight with velcro.

As a snoot, it's what I expect. Solid performer.
Fastening the unit to your speedlight, is awful...Self-adhesive velcro tabs are provided, which are stuck to the side of your speedlight, and stay there.
This solution is clunky and one-dimensional for me. I have other (similar) products, which shipped with a velcro strap, long enough to wrap around the speedlight and fasten to itself. No need for self-adhesive or other permanent methods of fastening the velcro.
As the method of fitment assumes that you won't mind having velcro tabs permanently attached to your speedlight, I don't like this device. However, using an alternate velcro strap - the unit is excellent value for money.
