I use this to hold my run and gun kit. I cut the foam to fit my gear and now I don't have to worry about it at any point during travel or shooting. The bag is light for the job it does and the padding on the back and straps is very comfortable.

Just what is needed when traveling with my DP motorcycle, this backpack with foam padding protects my digital camera/equipment and more. With added wings & 2 booster rockets I can keep up with BuzzLightyear

Comments about HPRC 3500F Backpack with Foam (Black):
Bought this for my wife's Canon 7D. All inside this case: 7D with lens and battery grip attached, charger, cables, zoom lens, case with CF cards, card reader, and cleaning kit. I had to cut out some of the top foam for the camera body (be careful of the position because the bottom of the case is fatter than the top).
This case replaced a pelican case of the same size that was too heavy for her to carry. The backpack works great and is easy to carry.
Used most often at the lake on a boat (wet location). It floats and keeps the camera inside dry and protected.

Comments about HPRC 3500F Backpack with Foam (Black):
I just bought this case recently and have only used it for 5-6 shooting days. So far it is wonderful. I bought the version with the pull 'n pluck foam but instead of using it I put in my own dividers from the lowelpro bag I was using. The case seems strong and is comfortable as a backpack. I can see hiking with it being no problem. I have plans to strap it to my motorcycle as well. My only real complaint is that it is small. You cannot fit an SLR with a battery grip attached because the case is not deep enough. There are no pockets for papers, charts, pens etc. If you pack only what you need this is a great travel pack. I can fit Canon 5D, three
