The flex arm is so stiff that if you move the arm too much the middle joint will come apart before the top joint even moves!! Not much adjustment then. Ill stick with my UCLS long clamp and ball joint..

I bought this item to use on a Sea & Sea 2G underwater camera. It fit the shoe mount on the housing and was taller and cheaper than Sea & sea's "hot shoe"
