I usually love the Bebob Brand and i have used a similar Bebob Zoe for broadcast lens and loved it. Although a little over priced!

Unfortunately this Zoe-EX didnt work too well with my EX1R.

I sometimes have an issue with slow zooms with this camera and people always recommend using a zoom demand. This particular Zoom controlled made my issue worse.

I returned this back to B&H and purchased the Varizoom zoom rocker instead and this works great for me.

I have used the varizoom VZ-PRO-C for 5 years with my Sony 390 and I loved it. I have had this product for about a year and I have used it with my Sony EX1. It worked great until recently. I notice that it zooms in slowly by itself and I can't figure it out. When I unplug this controller the zooming in stops, so I know its not the camera. I think I will eat the cost and buy another Varizoom VZ-PRO-EX.

The Bebob ZOE-EX zoomer controller is a must have for the Sony EX1. Being able to control the zoom speed range using the variable control on the right side of the unit sets it apart from other controllers I have used with cameras in the past.

I used Manfrotto Zoom Controller for my Sony PD150 & Sony Z1 Video Camcorders for over 5 years. I have just got my Sony EX1 and it requires Fuji Lens Remote Controller. This Bebob Engineering Zoom Controller have a totally different design buttons and speed dial control. I decided to take a trial and used it in my last two weddings. I think I have not yet get used to it so that the controller do not give me total control. Also, I don't like the record button too small and seems very sensitive. I think I will try the others when I purchased the next cam.

This product is just amasing. At first, I didn't thought it would be that much well working. On similar products for the PMW-EX1, they are either big and not that much smooth on the zoom. What makes it so diffrent is the side "wheel" that ajusts the maximum zoom speed.

This is an awesome product that really is impressed.

The zoom controller works well but getting use to the small size is somewhat challenging. The speed control dial mounted on the right of the body is a BIG help, it takes a lot of the guesswork out of finding the sweetspot for the zoom speed I want at any particular time. All buttons work as advertised with the EX-1. I am pleased with the controller, however I will be holding onto my Canon pistol grip until I can find or make an adapter cable.
