The MicroX Single-Channel Broadcast Character Generator from Chyron is a full-featured character-generation solution that offers real-time management of graphics and text. This unit supports both SD and HD video. It is built upon a Windows-based platform to ensure interoperability, scalability, upgradeability, and easy networking. Other features include GPI in and out, an internal keyer, GB Ethernet networking and redundant power supplies.
Content for the unit can be created online, offline, locally, or remotely. It supports numerous file types and aspect ratios. Its familiar time-based animations and drag-and-drop scene building emulate many nonlinear editing environments, making the device easy to use. This unit can also be integrated with Chyron's Lyric graphics applications and many third-party industry tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and many newsroom programs.
