This Century Precision Optics 0HD-FESU-EX1 0.45x Fisheye HD Adapter Lens offers an extreme wide angle effect with a high degree of barrel distortion. Using a twist-on bayonet mount to attach directly to Sony's PMW-EX1, EX1R and EX3 camcorders, the lens exaggerates depth by pulling nearby objects closer and causing distant objects to recede into the background. The partial zoom capability allows fields of view up to 108.6°, making this an excellent choice for action and sports video.

Comments about Century Precision Optics 0HD-FESU-EX1 0.45x Fisheye HD Adapter Lens:
Very nice fisheye lens adapter. The only thing you have to be careful of is light. When your iris is too open, the picture appears out of focus. Do not rely on zebra or histogram as the light levels they indicate to be acceptable will result in a blurry picture in high light areas, especially outdoors. Once you get on to stopping down the iris a bit more than your indicators would like, the lens works great!

Comments about Century Precision Optics 0HD-FESU-EX1 0.45x Fisheye HD Adapter Lens:
Very easy attachment using the bayonet/hood method and doesnt add to greatly to the weight of the cam. Produces extreme barrel distortion as described which may or may not be what you require, I questioned the .55 ratio quoted as it appears to be significantly more but images are clear at varying apertures. All in all a great lens for the price.
