The ION LP2CD Turntable and Integrated CD Recorder introduces an easy way to archive vinyl records to CD. The belt-drive turntable features a CD recorder and USB port for archiving recordings to iTunes. Simply cue a vinyl record, press record on the CD recorder and the LPCD2 does the rest. EZ Vinyl Converter 2 software for the PC and EZ Audio Converter software for the Mac are included. The software provides an easy means of digitizing recorded audio to iTunes software. The included software also enhances audio quality by removing pops and clicks.

Recommendation: Transfer part of an LP first and see how the unit operates. Read the directions several times, they're easy to read and apply the info. Use the turntable as you're reading the directions. This works. It took me about an hour to get the "hang of it." It's easy as 1..2..3.

The product is great for creating memories from vinyl to cd and to your computer with the I-tunes package you receive with this as well. Did have an issue adjusting the knob for the handle that lifts the needle to the record player. You have to have just the right amount of weight. I am still trying to figure that part out. The only thing is you do have to put this together yourself and if you don't know much about record players/turn tables and how they work, you may need to ask.

The auto track feature sometimes seems too sensitive. At times it won't automatically split the track. I have better luck doing it manually. Other than that it performs as advertised. Great product.

The turntable was easy to install and operate. I love the CD burner built directly into the turntable. My only recommendation would be to have the option to burn direct to the CD while playing as well as store to the internal hard drive

I bought this product only after reading the many consumer reviews praising it. So far, it has lived up to all the positive reviews. My only negative comment would be that the instruction manual is unclear, especially regarding the tone arm balancing. It has a lot of "steps", but it is not very clear, and the picture accompanying the instructions does not relate to the "balancing" of the tone arm. Once I got the hang of the balancing act, the unit performs flawlessly and looks great too. It wont' fit into my entertainment center, since the dimensions are too big, but I have another place in mind for it. Great product, so far.

I didn't get much time to play around with it since it was a gift for my parents, but it was easy to use and the recordings sounded good (well as good as they could with well used 50 year old records). My only complaint were that the instructions for assembly could have been clearer.
