The Aria Extreme N Airport Extreme Card from Sonnet is an expansion card for the Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini. The card replaces the existing Airport Extreme card in these computers, delivering draft 802.11n connectivity. Instructions and tools are included to aid you in installation. It can also be used in Windows notebooks that feature a Mini-PCI Express interface.
- Wireless Convenience
- Adding a wireless card to your computer allows for an easier network setup in your home or office. When used in conjunction with a wireless router you can share a broadband Internet connection wirelessly among the computers in your household. You'll even be able to stream media from your computer to your television by adding a wireless media center to your home theatre.
- Draft 802.11n Speed
- The draft 802.11n protocol allows for speeds of up to 300Mbps. This is five times as fast as the previous 802.11g protocol. The card is also fully compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b devices at slower speeds.
