The Sachtler Power Pack 30 is designed to supply 30 volts of current to run Reporter 250H, 200D, 270D or MicroSun fixtures.
Only the 250H and MicroSun can be plugged directly into the PowerPack 30 however, with the simple addition of the optional Sachtler Batronic ballast, the 200D and 270D are easily accommodated. The unit has an input voltage range from 85-260V and can be used worldwide under relatively harsh temperature conditions thanks to its IP20-compliant construction.
Mains power connection
The PowerPack 30 may be connected to any AC outlet worldwide, operating in a voltage range from 85V to 260V. The unit generates 30VDC @ 10 amps. It features a green LED status indicator.
For short periods of time the PowerPack 30 can support up to 20A. If the unit reaches a critical temperature, it will shut down the output power. After cool down, the PowerPack can be restarted.
Operation with Reporter 250H, 200 and 270W
While the Reporter 250H light fixture can be plugged directly into the XLR 4-pin outlet of the PowerPack 30, Sachtler daylight Reporter 200D (200 W) and Reporter 270D (270 W) light fixtures require the Sachtler Batronic (electronic ballast) for use. The Reporter MicroSun with 4-pin XLR is also compatible with the PowerPack 30.
