Comments about Logitech Squeezebox Receiver:
I have a Squeezebox Duet plugged in the living room and using this receiver for the bedroom - controlling both using the remote from the Duet or the iPeng application on my iPhone (iPeng's interface is awesome but run's $9.99)
Pro's:
* Plays Internet radio, Pandora, Slacker, etc.
* Ability to switch been multiple libraries on different computers (mine and my roommate's)
* Squeezebox server is dependable
* Compact design and flat black look blend perfectly with other A/V components
* Considerably more flexible than Apple's Airport Express which will only stream music on iTunes (no internet radio, Pandora, etc.)
Con's (note: all of these are related to connection issues):
* Not quite wireless 'N' compatible so you may have connectivity issues if you have a wireless 'N' router. Note: it will work with 'N' but you'll be spending some time configuring your network and firewall settings
* Constantly refreshing (unplugging, waiting 10 seconds, plugging back in, etc.) receiver and wireless router at least once a day to get connected
* While easy to set up on your WiFi network, you'll spend quite some time troubleshooting connection issues if using multiple receivers
Summary:
Considerably more flexible than Apple's Airport Express and great value for the money (Sonos' receivers run $700+).
These receivers are a "must-have" for anyone that wants to stream music wirelessly to multiple "zones." If you're looking for a receiver to wirelessly stream your Pandora, Slacker, Last.FM accounts....well, this is your best and possibly only option (for the price point).
If you are comfortable with playing around with your network settings to get these receivers to work harmoniously....this is for you!

Comments about Logitech Squeezebox Receiver:
This is my third Squeezebox unit (1 Boom and 2 Duets) so obviously I am extremely satisfied with the product and highly recommend it to others. The sound quality is great and I use it throughout my house for listening to Pandora and Slacker radio stations via the internet. The only negatives are that sometimes the unit will fail to wirelessly connect to my router and must be powered down and then restarted and the manual, even the version downloaded from the Logitech website, doesn't cover all of the unit's available features.
All in all, I consider the negatives to be minor and would not hesitate to highly recommend this product.
