Gemini iTrax Dual iPod Mixing Station and DJ Mixer (Black)
The Gemini iTrax Dual iPod Mixing Station is a complete DJ mixing station for 2 iPods, CD decks or turntables. The iTrax features 2 iPod docks and a USB output, making the iTrax capable of synchronizing to iTunes. Four iPod dock adapters are included for various iPod models.
The user replaceable X-Fader crossfader delivers smooth transitions. There are 2 RCA analog inputs per channel. The channels are switchable in order to accommodate turntable or line level devices such as CD decks.
A 1/4" phono microphone input features a 2-band EQ. The 1/4" phone headphone jack features a slider for quick cuing between channels. The compact iTrax delivers the features and flexibility suitable for home DJs, enthusiasts, mobile DJs and more.

We used this product daily while teaching lessons and for events and parties, at a ballroom dance studio. We went with this product because the ipod mixers (a different brand) that we'd had before kept malfunctioning in the same way. The Gemini mixer is easy to use, but sound quality is not consistent or very good. A huge down fall is that it doesn't charge ipods or turn them off when the mixer is turned off, so if an ipod was left on the mixer overnight, the battery would be dead the next day when we got to the studio to teach and we were unexpectedly left without the ability to play music until the ipod had time to charge--not a great thing to happen unexpectedly on a dance lesson for sure. This Gemini mixer totatly and completely died 8 months after purchase, while we were in the middle of a dance party with a lot of people at the studio. All of a sudden, the only sound that we heard was horrible, LOUD feedback. The only warning we had was literally 1 day of the mixer not wanting to push sound well--had to turn the volume waaaay up and still music would only play VERY softly while using a cd player hooked to the mixer. At that point, ipods still worked fine until BOOM! It ruined the party!!! Thankfully we had gotten the 2 year replacement warranty!!! I will NEVER buy another Gemini product again and am wary about keeping the Gemini ipod mixer, that we are still waiting to receive back from the warranty replacement plan, even as an emergency backup.

I bought this in anticipation of our annual houseboat trip which has expanded to two huge boats and about 25 people on a 4 day float on Shasta Lake, CA. The music selection is always good, but the fighting over who's iPod get's played and what song is up next is always an issue. We almost erased that problem by hooking this puppy up to a portable soundsystem that we had going for hours on end without a break in music or a complaint about who's turn it was. Just fade out and fade in. The party just kept spinnin'!
