Comments about Celestron C50 Mini Mak 2.0"/50mm Waterproof Catadioptric Spotting Scope Kit:
Lightweight high gain scope would be better if a sighting or aiming device were part of the frame. Very difficult to aim the scope at the lowest zoom of 26 with a field of view of only a degree or so. The eyepiece is set at an angle to the input direction making it even more difficult.
The 50 mm objective lens will not deliver enough light for bright images except in full sunshine. Other than those fundamental restrictions, it is well built and certainly delivers value for the price. OK for a fixed aim such as a gun range spotting scope.
